Nudlaghi Leadership Institute

We nurture a community of leaders who are connected to each other, the land, Alaska,
and the world, for generations to come. Guided by indigenous values, we provide
opportunities for leaders to build communities of interest to strengthen Alaska.

Frequently Asked Questions

Can I Bring The Fish That I Catch Home?
Simple answer: Yes. However, everyone's fish are handled together. Camp personnel will fillet the fish. You may take some fish home with you, but not more than 3 per person, per day. In Anchorage, there are several fish handlers who can further clean the fish, remove the pin bones, vacuum pack, freeze the fish and put them in a styrofoam travel box for you. Some can even make your salmon into lox, but they will need time.

Dietary Restrictions?
Notify the staff well before your stay of your dietary restrictions. This will be facilitated in the Nudlaghi Leadership Institute Camp Logistics form you will receive shortly after acceptance into your corresponding session.

Please make sure to state any dietary or medical restrictions you may have in the registration form. This includes allergies, medications or devices you need access to during your stay. This is crucial as we are remote and there are limited supplies at camp.
