Fishing License

All residents age 18 or older and nonresidents age 16 or older must purchase and possess a sport fishing license
to participate in Alaska sport and personal use fisheries. In addition, a king salmon stamp is required to fish
for king salmon (except king salmon in stocked lakes). These laws apply in both fresh and marine waters. Sport fish
licenses and king salmon stamps may be purchased online, at most sporting goods stores, at many supermarket customer
service counters and at Fish and Game offices.
Licenses should be purchased before you travel to Silver Salmon Camp and must be with you when you are
fishing. There are park rangers patroling at Silver Salmon Creek.
It is recommended that you purchase a license that covers your entire stay at Silver Salmon Camp.
